Tips

Tip 1#
Most of you will probably notice after a while, that a lot of the desserts listed use different types of pans. Now rather than you shying away from making a dessert because you don't have that pan or because buying a pan every time you try a new dessert is expensive, I am going to share a tip with you. It's called; Goodwill. Yup, just one word. One word that opens you up to a whole collection of baking pans that are a few dollars away. I have gotten a bunch of pans from there, such as an angel food cake pan for $3, a bunt cake pan for $2, Heart shape silicone chocolate mold for $1, a flour sifter for $1, and much more. This is a good way to get up a collection of pans (And other baking items) for a very cheap price. Hope this tip is helpful!

Tip 2#
A lot of times when I make desserts they tend to be hard to get out of the pan, even if I grease it. Now I am not talking about cookies... I am talking about home-made cheesecakes and pies. If you too struggle with this, then Chef Adriana is coming to your rescue! ;) Here's a helpful tip: Try placing a sheet of tin-foil in your pan. Make sure to mold the foil so it hugs the bottom and sides of pan. And that is all there is to it! Once your tin-foil is placed then continue to press your crust on top of the foil and continue making your dessert just like the recipe says. Once your dessert is baked and cooled, then you can easily cut it and presto! no stick!

Tip 3#
There have been several occasions were I am going somewhere and want to bring a dessert, but I need it to be finger-food style. So here is a tip that will help you to 'party-fy' any dessert: Use a cute, lil, mini-muffin pan. Simple as that. Whether you are making cheesecake, brownies, or any other type of dessert -You can easily make it inside a mini-muffin pan and have finger-food desserts. They are fun  to make and cute to look at, keep in mind that this means it will cook faster and you may have to make a smaller batch of the recipe.

Tip 4#
Have you ever wanted to make cheesecake, but there is such a big crowd that you would need to make a dozen to give everyone a slice? Perhaps you haven't had this occur, but I sure have ;) An easy way to make a dessert go farther is by making it into bars. You can bake any type of cheesecake in a square cake pan, and instead of it making 10 servings, it now makes 15-20 (Depending on how big the bars are). Just make sure you place tin-foil inside the pan before adding the crust and batter; That way when the cake is cool, you can easily lift it out of the pan and cut it into perfect lil' squares. Hope this tip proves helpful for ya!

Tip 5#
To make your recipes healthier, try adding applesauce in in place of the oil (For baked recipes only). A 1/2 a cup of oil is 800 calories, but a 1/2 a cup of applesauce is only 50! Not only does it taste good but you will feel better eating it because it's good for you! Note; we have only tested it on cake recipes.
