Pumpkin Cream Sauce - Gluten Free

-Makes 4 Cups of sauce-
2 Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 1/2 Cups of Pumpkin
1/2 Cup of Maple Syrup
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/8 Tsp Nutmeg

In a saucepan on med-low heat, add all ingredients and cook until hot. Do not boil the cream! Add more or less sugar as desired. Once the mixture has reached the desired flavor, carefully pour into a blender and blend for 3-5 min. Be careful with hot liquids as you do not want a big mess! Cream sauce should come to a whipped and smooth consistency. Use as a garnish on desserts or for whatever purposes you may have!
